Terms of Service

Welcome to NonProfitJobs.info ("Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), forming a legally binding agreement (“Agreement”) between you, the Platform, and its affiliates. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform. Your right to access or use the Platform is terminated if you decline or violate these Terms.


1. Introduction

The Platform enables prospective employers (each a “Publisher”) to publish information regarding employment opportunities on a subscription basis for a fee (“Publishing”). The Platform provides the public, which consists of employment candidates and other persons accessing the Platform (each a “Candidate”), with a no fee license to use the Platform provided services, as described herein, to search for employment opportunities and to otherwise utilize the Platform services consistently with these Terms.


Whether you use the services as a guest, registered user, Candidate, or Publisher (collectively, “Users”), these Terms govern your access to and use of any content, support and functionality offered by the Platform.


2. Account Registration

To fully access the Platform and its features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities that occur under your account.


You represent and warrant that you are fully authorized and empowered to enter into an agreement and accept all of the Terms herein. If you are acting on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept this Agreement on behalf of the organization.


You agree not to create an account for anyone other than yourself or the organization you are acting on behalf of.


3. Job Listings

As a User, you may have the ability to post job listings on the Platform. You agree that all job listings you post will be accurate, lawful, and comply with applicable laws and regulations. You are solely responsible for the content of your job listings and any consequences arising from posting inaccurate or misleading information.


As a Publisher, if you elect to post jobs, you will pay a fee (“Fee”) on a one-time subscription basis (“Subscription”), which may be extended or renewed. The payment of a Fee to the Platform is for the provision of all licenses, services, and items necessary and appropriate to facilitate Publishing of a specified number of jobs. The parties expressly acknowledge that the sale of Publishing is on a “use it or lose it” basis, and no refund is available if a User fails to utilize all or any of the Publishing.


All amounts are in U.S. Dollars. We may revise the Fees for our services at any time, or impose additional fees or charges, in which case we will notify you by posting the change to our services or by email. All Fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes, duties, levies, tariffs, and other governmental charges (including, without limitation, sales and use taxes, gross receipts taxes, business and occupation taxes, VAT, and other transaction-based taxes), collectively, “Taxes”. As purchaser, you will be responsible for reporting and remitting any and all Taxes, whether or not such amounts are identified, invoiced, separately stated, or collected by the Platform.


Once initiated by you, Subscriptions and any payments made are non-cancelable and non-refundable. We do not issue refunds for early cancellation or termination of the services, or for any other reason. You agree to notify us of any Fee dispute within thirty (30) days of it being due, and must cooperate with us in good faith to promptly resolve any such dispute. If the charges were made in error, we will credit your User account or payment method for the appropriate amount. You agree to reimburse us for all reasonable costs and expenses incurred in collecting delinquent amounts.


4. Communications

Communications, including email communications, will be periodically sent to Users in connection with the services.


5. Job Applications

As a User applying for jobs through the Platform, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information in your application materials. The Platform is not responsible for the hiring decisions of employers using the Platform. We do not guarantee the accuracy or authenticity of job listings, and we encourage Users to exercise caution and conduct their own due diligence.


6. User Content

The Platform may allow you to post, submit, or upload content, including but not limited to resumes, cover letters, and job listings ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by providing it to us, you grant the Platform a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform your User Content in connection with the Platform's operation and promotion.


7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Platform's functionality. You also agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:


  • Use the Platform to post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Harass, intimidate, or threaten other Users or Platform personnel.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other Users' accounts.
  • Use automated means, including bots, spiders, or scrapers, to access the Platform or collect User information.
  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.


8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and disclose information about our Users.


9. Modifications to the Platform

The Platform reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time without prior notice. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts or all of the Platform without liability or notice.


10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold the Platform, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives harmless from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Platform, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.


11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.


12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the State of Florida.


13. Changes to the Terms

The Platform may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Effective Date" at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Platform after the revised Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.


14. Miscellaneous

The Agreement constitutes the complete and exclusive statement of the agreement between you and the Platform, and supersedes all other proposals or prior agreements oral or written, and any other communications relating to the subject matter of the Terms. If any provision of the Agreement is found unenforceable, it shall not affect the validity of the remainder of the Agreement, which shall remain valid and enforceable according to its terms, and the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the Agreement shall continue in effect. You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and Idealist as a result of the Agreement or your use of the services. Any rights and licenses granted under the Agreement may not be transferred or assigned by you, but may be assigned by us without restriction. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Agreement shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision. The section titles in the Agreement are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.
