The Director of Operations oversees the day-to-day operations of core activities and initiatives of the College for Behavioral Health Leadership (CBHL), ensuring it runs efficiently and that the organization and its team have what they need to succeed. This position works in close partnership with the Chief Executive Officer to execute on the strategic vision for the organization and ultimately implement the work and programs of CBHL.

The Director of Operations reports to the Chief Executive Officer and has oversight of assigned staff, interns, and contracted personnel.

Provide support to the CEO in developing strategic and operational programs and plans and executing them within identified timeframes.
Plan and actively manage CBHL’s operations, programs, and all membership activities, including but not limited to webinars, member engagement dialogues, equity-grounded leadership fellow program, learning collaboratives, and mentorship programs.
Oversees CBHL member management system.
Assist CEO with accounting procedures and fiscal oversight.
Model the organization’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and support implementation of all related activities.
Support the CEO in management of all administrative functions including accounting, membership management, vendor management, website and IT, government reporting, policies, and internal controls.
Oversee marketing and communications, including content development, messaging strategy, website, listserv, mailing list management, and social media.
Assist the CEO in support for and administration of the Board of Directors and governance committees, including preparing reports, scheduling, meeting materials, minutes, presentations, and follow up.
Develop effective working relationships with members and key partners.
Act on behalf of the CEO in member events, conferences, and in meetings.
Engage and develop relationships with CBHL Board, membership and strategic partners.
Supervise staff, interns, and contracted personnel as assigned.
