    Description

    NEIWPCC is seeking a team-oriented, committed, and personable Information Officer to provide administrative and event support to our headquarters office.

    What You’ll Do

    As a NEIWPCC Information Officer and an essential member of the Business Operations Division, you will:

    • Work with other Business Operations staff to provide support to assigned Business and Programmatic Divisions within NEIWPCC.
    • Assist with meeting and conference planning, including venue research, attendee and exhibitor correspondence, booking travel arrangements, event set-up and onsite registration, attendee travel reimbursements, and reporting.
    • Coordinate and maintain a calendar of internal staff events such new hire orientations, workgroup meetings, holiday celebrations, summer and winter outings, community cleanups, and other networking activities.
    • Support the division staff with correspondence with state and federal employees, material preparations, internal and external meetings, reporting, and purchasing.

    Preferred Qualifications

    The successful candidate will have a passion and interest in preserving and advancing water quality. Ideally the candidate will have:

    • A degree in business administration or management, hospitality, information technology, communications, or a related field is preferred.
    • Experience collaborating with multiple teams, multi-tasking, and time management.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, databases, telephone and computer systems.
    • Experience with travel arrangements and/or a corporate travel environment preferred.
    • Integrity, professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentiality is a must.

    Candidates with alternative qualifications or who have taken a less traditional career path may be considered if an aptitude for success and a strong willingness to learn is clearly apparent.

    Logistics

    This is a full-time, in-office position based in NEIWPCC’s Headquarters office, located at 650 Suffolk Street, Lowell, MA 01854. Duties will be performed largely in an office setting, but with a need for travel, for which a valid driver’s license and private means of transportation is required. After six months of employment, this position may be eligible for a partial telework schedule for office-based duties, subject to approval and determined by program and office needs.

    What We Offer

    The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $45,000 to $60,000. NEIWPCC offers an outstanding comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees:
