About Us
Carey Marine Foundation, LLC organizes educational, fundraising, and conservation-focused events to support marine preservation efforts. Our work brings together communities, donors, and environmental advocates to protect our planet’s oceans.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate, and manage virtual and in-person events (conferences, clean-ups, workshops)
• Work with internal teams to align event goals with foundation objectives
• Develop event timelines, checklists, and communication plans
• Coordinate vendor contracts, digital invites, and event logistics
• Oversee event promotion on social media and email platforms
• Manage event registration and participant communications
• Evaluate event performance and recommend improvements
• Experience in event planning, virtual event platforms, or nonprofit coordination
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking ability
• Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders
• Proficient in project management software and communication tools
• Passion for environmental causes and public engagement
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Communications, or related field (preferred)
