VP of Fundraising

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a lively and motivated VP of Fundraising to join our client’s team in the Dallas metro area. The ideal candidate will have experience working with non-profits and high-level donors, foundations, and community stakeholders. This position requires extremely strong communication skills and the ability to create and execute a comprehensive advancement strategy to drive revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and manage relationships and strategies with major donors including solicitation of major gifts
• Communicate regularly and provide acknowledgments
• Make personalized financial requests to donors
• Lead and motivate the fundraising team with specific goals
• Act as an ambassador through public speaking and appearances
• Build relationships with the programs team to communicate impact
• Report on revenue and engage the board in fundraising
• Oversee grant writing and reporting and collaborate with the program data team for grant alignment
• Execute the donor stewardship communication plan
• Develop and review the annual fundraising budget
• Analyze fundraising data and maintain data integrity
• Oversee external events for fundraising and community engagement
• Serve on the executive leadership team, providing feedback and recommendations

• 7+ years of fundraising leadership and supervisory experience
• Proven fundraising success, especially with major gifts and campaigns
• Public speaking experience
• Experience with donor databases/CRM

Salary: starting at $100,000 (based on experience)
