Our Client, Iowans for Taxpayer Relief Foundation, an organization promoting limited government values and free-market principles, is adding an Executive Vice President to their team. The Executive Vice President (EVP) will work closely with the President/CEO to keep the organization growing and adapting to change, while also launching new projects, building internal capacity, and helping the team with long-term success.
This position will handle day-to-day operations, ensuring work aligns with the organization’s mission. The Executive Vice President is a strategic leader who can inspire and manage a team across policy, communications, outreach, and development. The EVP will lead all fundraising efforts, overseeing major gifts, donor relations, and annual campaigns, while building a solid pipeline of individual, corporate, and foundation donors.
Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Partner with the CEO to refine the organization’s strategic direction and expand the ability to fulfill the mission.
- Oversee projects that promote prosperity and freedom for Iowans, grounded in free-market principles.
- Manage and support a cross-functional team, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with goals.
- Set measurable goals and foster a results-driven culture.
- Provide hands-on coaching to team members to enhance performance.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to grow the organization’s donor base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with major donors, prospects, and community partners.
- Manage annual development plans, including grants and key fundraising metrics.
- Identify and cultivate donors who can make significant contributions over time.
