We offer practical resources, tangible help, and meaningful relationships that inspire hope and healing through the power of the Gospel. As a growing organization in the start-up phase, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Executive Director to lead our mission with vision, integrity, and faith while prioritizing fundraising to ensure organizational sustainability and growth.
Position Summary: The Executive Director will serve as the chief fundraiser, leader, and representative of Cincy at the Well, overseeing operations, strategic direction, and ministry initiatives. This role requires a deep personal faith in Jesus Christ, alignment with our statement of faith, and a commitment to traditional Christian values regarding sexuality and gender. The Executive Director will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies while working closely with the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, and community partners to further our mission and expand our impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising and Financial Development (Major Priority):
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan to secure donations from individuals, churches, foundations, and corporations.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with major donors, sponsors, and funding partners.
- Organize and execute fundraising events, campaigns, and grant applications.
- Provide compelling and multi-channeled communication to donors about the impact of their contributions.
- Ensure financial sustainability through consistent fundraising efforts and sound financial management.
Leadership and Vision:
- Cast and communicate the vision of Cincy at the Well to stakeholders, donors, and the community.
- Provide spiritual and organizational leadership, ensuring alignment with our mission and values.
Operations and Management:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness.
- Hire, train, and supervise staff and volunteers, fostering a positive and Christ-centered workplace culture.
Community Engagement:
- Build and maintain partnerships with churches, community organizations, and businesses.
- Lead educational initiatives for the community through our Ambassador Training program and awareness campaigns. Develop and implement new training programs as needed.
- Actively engage with women in the sex industry through outreach and resource programs, embodying Christ’s love.
Board Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Board of Directors to develop strategic plans and organizational policies.
- Provide regular updates on program effectiveness, finances, and key initiatives. Prepare agendas, reports, and materials for board meetings
Qualifications:
- A deep and active faith in Jesus Christ, with a lifestyle that reflects traditional Christian values, including active membership in a local church.
- Agreement with Cincy at the Well’s statement of faith, .
- A heart for ministry and a calling to serve women in the sex industry.
- Extensive fundraising experience, including securing major gifts, grant writing, and donor relations.
- Proven leadership experience, preferably in nonprofit management or ministry settings.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in budget management and strategic planning.
- Ability to inspire and lead a diverse team with grace and humility.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., ministry, nonprofit management, social work).
- Familiarity with the challenges faced by women in the sex industry and a passion for restorative work.
- Trauma training for working with vulnerable populations.
Compensation: This is a full-time position with a salary commensurate with experience, along with a $3,000 medical stipend, unlimited paid time off, and flexible schedules.
