Position Summary

Develops, executes, manages, and evaluates individual donor development plans to generate unrestricted revenue for CPLC operations, services, and affiliates under the Resource Development Strategy.

Primary Duties And Essential Functions

Evaluate, and manage CPLC individual donor development through the execution of:

Operating support / annual fund
Program fundraising
Monthly / recurring giving
Major gifts
Planned giving
Special campaigns
Develop relationships with and serve as point-of-contact for donors
Identify donor prospects, develop cultivation strategies, solicit gifts, and steward donors effectively
Incorporate CPLC subsidiaries and affiliates
Analyze donor data and prospects to develop gift acquisition strategies
Coordinate donor cultivation and recognition events
Assist in Developing donor communications/ proposals, newsletters, publications, fundraising brochures, multi-media presentations, direct mail, and other fundraising-related marketing materials
Work closely with programs to develop and implement program-specific fundraising strategies
Ensure timely gift processing and donation acknowledgements
Manage accurate, confidential, actionable donor data
Other resource development projects as assigned
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
Able to present operational information to personnel at all levels.

Minimum Qualifications And Competencies

Bachelor’s Degree; at least 7 years of experience that is directly related to resource development; a directly related higher degree from an accredited institution may be substituted for up to two years of experience, and/ or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform assigned duties.

CFRE preferred.
