Tri City Health Partnership is a non-profit organization committed to providing medical and dental care to uninsured residents in Central Kane County. As a key member of our leadership team, co-leading the medical clinic with our Clinical Care Manager, reporting to the Executive Director and the Medical Director, you will play a pivotal role in making a positive impact on the lives of people in need.
We are seeking a dynamic and professional health care leader to serve as the Clinical Business Manager and lead the day-to-day operations at Tri City Health Partnership. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with a current license and in good standing with the State of Illinois. The individual in this role must follow all regulatory and licensure requirements to maintain good standing. Minimum of 2 years direct patient care experience, computer literacy and electronic medical record experience required. Bilingual Spanish is required.
Core Responsibilities:
- With the Clinical Care Manager, build teamwork with Medical Directors, Executive Director and BOD to insure the efficient management of the clinic and clinic operations.
- Responsible for collaborating with the Executive Director on annual performance appraisals and recommending compensation changes for the front desk team to the BOD for review.
- Supervise all clinical logistics and administration operations.
- Lead data collection efforts to ensure reliable and up-to-date statistics on clinic operations.
- Lead medical clinic volunteer recruitment and engagement efforts, collaborating with the Executive Director and the Resource Development Manager
- With the Clinical Care Manager, implement community health education and screening programs.
- Periodically throughout the year attends Board meetings to report on clinical progress, programs, and management challenges.
- Assist the Executive Director with budgeting, reporting and outcome measurement planning.
- Ensure timely emergency equipment repair and follow through with office manager.
- Assist with community outreach events.
- Assist with volunteer recognition efforts for the clinic.
- Provide back-up and coverage for the Clinical Care Manager
- Other duties as assigned.
What will the day-to-day look like?
Every day will be different, but here are some daily tasks that you will be working on:
- Open medical building at least 2 x per week (Prep room, lights, make sure it is clean)
- Assess medication inventory
- Order supplies for dental/medical if directly related to treatment i.e. medication lab supplies dental tools etc.
- Manage relationship with programs that provide medications to free and charitable clinics
- After consult with appropriate volunteers and/or staff, fill prescription refill requests
- Communicate with Kane County Health Department and Coroner as needed
- Coordinate volunteer providers for DOT physical certification
- Work directly with NP and PA student volunteers and volunteer preceptors
- Meet weekly with Executive Director, Dental Practice Manager and Clinical Care Manager
- With Clinical Care Manager, lead meetings with medical staff and volunteers as needed
- Liaison with non-profit partners for complicated medical situations – referrals, level of care needed
- Promote clinic to other health care workers to increase volunteer population
- Monthly and weekly meetings with partners as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Medical professional with a minimum of 2 years direct patient care.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in clinic management or health care administration.
- Appropriate medical licensure (RN).
- Knowledge of medical care processes, regulations and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Salary and Benefits:
- Salary will be based on relevant experience and qualifications. Annual salary range: $75,000-$95,000.

Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm;
1st Wednesday of each month - evening clinic 4:30pm-8:30pm;
occasional additional evenings and/or weekends.
Work Location: On site in the clinic.
