Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the CEO to strategize and execute fundraising initiatives that align with our mission and organizational objectives.
- Partner with the Board of Directors to set and monitor ambitious fundraising goals.
- Lead pursuits to secure major gifts, corporate sponsorships, government funding, and private grants.
- Propel revenue growth and sustainability through innovative fundraising methodologies.
- Inspire a culture of giving by engaging with the Board, staff, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee the design, execution, and assessment of all fundraising events, campaigns, and donor engagement efforts.
- Cultivate significant relationships with key donors, enhancing their continued support through personalized engagement.
- Develop and execute a donor segmentation strategy focusing on major gifts and high-net-worth individuals.
- Collaborate with the Board and senior leaders to diversify funding sources and elevate private sector revenue.
- Mentor the development team to ensure the effective implementation of fundraising strategies.
- Amplify public awareness regarding our organization’s impact and reputation within the community.
- Team up with the marketing department to craft engaging digital content and social media campaigns that bolster support for our mission.
- Represent the organization at community events and public speaking engagements to raise awareness and promote our mission.
- Strengthen relationships with local organizations and partners to broaden our network.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; a graduate degree is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, event planning, and team leadership, with a proven history of raising \(500K - \)1M+.
- Demonstrated success in securing major gifts, corporate sponsorships, and foundation grants, alongside expertise in using fundraising technology, including CRM systems (DonorPerfect preferred).
- Exceptional communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills; adept at connecting with diverse groups and forming lasting relationships.
- Profound understanding of the local community, complemented by established relationships within the region.
- Proven experience in leading, motivating, and mentoring high-performing teams.
